Farewell, Hogwarts.
It has been a lovely first half of the year, but I can't deny an eagerness for the winter hols. Christmas always brings proper excellent parties, Bûche de Noël, and, of course, Christmas day brings presents. I will be enjoying myself immensely this Christmas.
I hope everyone has a lovely time on their holiday.

It seems like there's endless supply of things to do in the next couple of weeks. With Halloween just around the corner, everyone seems to be scurrying around finding last minute costumes. After the feast, we won't have to wait but a day until the Daily Prophet representatives come by. And, of course, the first Quidditch game of the season is fast approaching.
Sometimes, I wish we had Halloween hols. My parents attend a Halloween Masquerade Costume Ball every year, which I quite enjoyed as a child.
